Candlewood Valley Country Club
Candlewood Valley Country Club is a privately owned, public 18 hole Golf Facility situated on 175 acres in the scenic Candlewood Valley in New Milford, Connecticut. Open seven days a week, weather permitting. They also offer a practice green and chipping area, as well as a teaching/lesson/clinic area for PGA Golf Professionals.

Crestbrook Park Golf Course

Sloane-Stanley Museum
Eric Sloane (1905-1985) painted rural New England and collected handcrafted wooden tools, which he prized as works of Yankee ingenuity and art. This barn-style museum housing his studio and collection is a tribute to rural America. Open mid-May to late Oct. Wed.-Sun. 10-4. $3.50, seniors $2.50, ages 6-17 $2.

American Indian Archeological Institute
Formerly the American Indian Archaeological Institute, this fine educational facility focuses on the history and culture of the Native American. Family programs and special events take place throughout the year, and a Library is available for those doing serious studies.

Glebe House Museum
Set in the picturesque Litchfield Hills in historic Woodbury's village center, the Glebe House Museum offers the visitor a glimpse of Revolutionary War era Connecticut. The simple but elegant 18th century farmhouse is furnished as the home of the Reverend John Marshall and his family who lived in the "glebe" during the turmoil of the American war for Independence.

The Litchfield Jazz Festival
The festival with something for everyone from the best professional music around, to heartwarming performances by students of our music and dance programs, to great food and drink, art and photography, and crafts of all kinds. Past artists included James Moody, Dave Brubeck, Sonny Rollins, Slide Hampton and Amhad Jamal. We were also blessed to have had some of the finest jazz players before they passed away, Tommy Flanagan, Ray Charles, Thomas Chapin, Tito Puente, and Stanley Turrentine.

Westconn & Litchfield Performing Arts Jazz Festival
This jazz festivals features student combos or big bands and the Joe Lovano Nonet. Each ensemble will play for 30 minutes at either Ives Concert Hall or Alumni Hall. Afterward, they will receive constructive feedback from world renown jazz artists, including Don Braden, Terrell Stafford, John Benitez, Mark Whitfield, Jeff Hellmer and Matt Wilson.

Ski Butternut
Ski Butternut is located 3 miles east of Great Barrington, MA, a pleasant New England town situated in the heart of the beautiful Berkshire Mountains. Ski Butternut features skiing and snowboarding on 22 trails with 2 terrain parks open to both skiers and riders, plus an 8-kilometer cross country center that also offers rentals and lessons. Butternut is an excellent area to learn to ski or snowboard due to its gentle beginner terrain and outstanding ski school as well as its excellent snowmaking and grooming.
